Beware of vintage mancave Artfactory selling fake signs as originals
This company, vintage Mancave Artfactory, is ripping people off by selling them all kinds of fake signs and not vintage neon signs as described…..Some are straight-up reproduction porcelain signs, then drilled out to accompany neon…..Some are original porcelain signs that are retro fitted with neon…..Very very few are original porcelain neon signs…..I have been contacted by several people in the last 2 years about this scam company that is charging crazy prices for misrepresented signs…..The descriptions are very deceptive and misleading and all the people who have contacted me say the same thing….They have dealt with an older guy who sounds so genuine and believable and he also claims ignorance when confronted about being deceived …
Vintage Mancave Artfactory: Fraud in Vintage neon Market
I would not recommend this company as they are knowingly deceiving people all the time, then when its discovered of their fraud, they just claim ignorance on vintage neon signs…Also if you know anything about sign collectors, this place called Mancave . Artfactory claim’s to be the biggest man cave place in the world…In reality, they are not even close, they should be classified as the biggest thieves in the original neon sign business and that should tell you a lot about the rest of their business……..
Vintage Mancave Artfactory has been doing this for several years and i am getting sick of getting phone calls from people wondering if this overpriced sign is original…so far, 100% of the time, the answer is no……They fall into an elite category of people with zero conscious…..
We are now tracking & documenting these complaint of horrified customers…..Here is just 1 example of teir fraud….I was just contacted today by Edmund Lum today and he told me he bought this Reddy Kilowatt sign for $14,000…..It was represented as all original & fact is, its for sure not an original neon & i have my doubts about the porcelain…I will need to inspect in person to find out & Mr. Lum is from california and it will take me a while to see in person…..This is just one example of these scam artists ……Please see the photo’s below of this poorly done neon……Notice the jumper wires for the neo, neon work is horrible & no makers mark on the 32″ sign itself……….
